Result Manager and Rule Packages
Enhanced autoverification – provides consistent, quality results
Clone the expertise in your lab and automate result verification – reducing TAT, tech to tech variability, and chance of human error. Preconfigured rules packages and a Rule Wizard are included with the EasyLink Informatics System to assist users in easily getting started with the implementation of autoverification. Furthermore the EasyLink Informatics System offers custom rules writing capability with flexibility and options to:
- Create a rule package or group specific rules in the order of priority.
- Use the rules wizard to select individual or multiple assays for which you wish to write rules to perform autoverification.
- Potential to write hundreds of rules in minutes from a single screen or operator task.
- Select for rules to "hold the individual result" or "hold all results for the sample".
- Use rules to add comments to the results.
- Import and/or export rules from the EasyLink Informatics System - share rules with other sites.
Levey-Jennings Chart
Integrated QC Software – puts you in control
Users can view their QC data various ways with the EasyLink Informatics System. A simple highlight or click provides a quick view of QC results by assay or control along with a preview of the Levy-Jennings chart or graph. Double-clicking a particular control will take the user to a more detailed view of the data maintained for the QC material such as CV, Accuracy, target value, range, a result list, and Levy-Jennings charts/graphs.
Along with multiple routes to view QC data, the EasyLink Informatics System also has flexible options to:
- Integrate with the EasyLink Result Manager application for autoverification
- Change time period and easily update stats.
- Remove data points from statistics but not permanently from database
- Select from a wide rage of print options/ export options to print or create electronic files of data
- Perform advanced or automatic rules checks as well as set up rules as triggers
- Create rules checks custom to your site
- Add comments to QC results
Sample Details
Sample management – automates manual process
Sample management processes and LIS backup capabilities help automate manual processes in the laboratory during LIS downtime. Robust sample/result management is also supported via the capability to view results of samples across all instruments connected to the EasyLink Informatics System – making it easy for labs, for example, to identify shifts or trending of results from one analyzer vs. another.
Users have the option to configure 4 types of alerts in the EasyLink Informatics System for enhanced sample management capabilities:
- STAT Alerts
- System Errors
- QC Alerts
- Connectivity Alerts
Operators have multiple options during a manual result or sample review process to repeat, ignore, or release results from a sample with no additional page navigation. A reset option has also been added to delete an original result and order a new test with a single click from the review page.
Finding a specimen for an add-on or repeat test can be frustrating and very time consuming. With the SpecTRACK® * Specimen Tracking option on the EasyLink Informatics System, the time wasted on searching for specimens is over.

Browser-based networking & web-based applications
Browser-based networking capability offers EasyLink users the ability to connect to multiple locations with support for up to 25 concurrent users on networked PCs, as well as web- based applications that enable real-time access to laboratory data across sites having the EasyLink Informatics System in the hospital network.
Networking capability includes:
- Single facility on Local Area Network with multiple access points
- Multiple facilities on same Local Network with multiple access points to multiple EasyLink units
- Multiple Facilities on Multiple Local Area Networks – but on same Wide Area Network using IP address routing between networks
